TV hits NCIS, S.W.A.T., comedy Bless This Mess and the Party Of Five reboot has all been shut down by the latest California wildfires.

Cast and crew of the shows were told to stay home on Friday as the Saddleridge Fire burned through Porter Ranch, Sylmar and beyond, claiming homes and forcing 23,000 mandatory evacuations.

The production of several other TV series and films has also been affected throughout the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, thanks to smoke and poor air quality. Here’s everything you have to know.

    Spearing no one

As the first major Los Angeles area wildfire this fall broke out Thursday night, claiming homes, shutting down major freeways and prompting evacuations, it also impacted production on several TV series in the affected areas of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys.

Production on ABC/20th TV sophomore comedy series Blesses This Mess. This isn’t the first wildfire, however, as hundreds of thousands of its residents are regularly going to have their power cut off for days at a time so that their electric utilities can avoid starting wildfires.

    Yet another fire

The fire started on Thursday night and had ripped through 7,500 acres by the middle of Friday afternoon, at which point the blaze was only 13% contained by firefighters.

Sable Ranch in Santa Clarita, where Dax Shepard’s Bless This Mess is filmed, is under an evacuation order.

The site, which has been used for countless films and TV series, was damaged during the Sand Fire three years ago.

More dangerous than the last one

The latest wildfire turned deadly overnight on Thursday after one man in his late 50s suffered cardiac arrest and died as he attempted to defend his home from the flames.

The latest disaster will bring back terrible memories for stars like Robin Thicke, Gerard Butler, and then-couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, who all lost their homes in Malibu during the Woolsey Fire last November.
