Ferrari has revealed two new cars in a record year in reference to model range renewal, a perspective that will probably permit the Italian supercar maker to grow sales and heighten average rates.
On Monday, the company based in Maranello in Northern Italy launched a sports car packed with its most famous mid-rear-mounted 720-horsepower (530Kw) V8 engine, called F8 Spider, and a more comfortable Gran Turismo – also called as 812 GTS – with a 12-cylinder powertrain.
Its 800-horsepower engine makes it the most heightened production Spider model on the market, as per a statement. Both models can reach a maximum speed of 211 miles per hour (340km/h).

While the Ferrari F8 gets the bloodline of open-top cars that started in the late 1970s, the 812 arrives a half-century after the launch of the last Ferrari Spider, mounting a 12-cylinder engine up front, with a style that seems the Ferrari 365 GTS4 – also called as Daytona because of its legendary win in the late 1960s.
The supercar maker has revealed a record of four brand new models this year and plans to reveal the fifth one by this year’s end with the ultimate goal of giving about 10,000 vehicles in 2019 as it had been said by chief executive officer Louis Camilleri.
That is up from the total transshipment of 9251 cars last year. The company is pushing a strong revival of its model range that will probably permit it to increase average prices.
Ferrari is beaming with the price of the two supercars by 11 percent as compared to the earlier models. The F8 Spider will be worth 262,000 euros ($421,600) for Italian customers, while the rate tag for the 812 GTS will fall to 336,000 euros, as it has been said by Ferrari chief marketing and commercial officer Enrico Galliera at an event near Maranello on Monday. The production of both cars will begin in the first half of 2020 and deliveries will start in the summer of the same year as he said.
