Free Trial for Need For Speed Heat Out Now On EA Access, Here’s How To Get It.
An icon of the early-mid 2000s gaming, the Need For Speed (NFS) title is a legendary franchise but one that is in need of a facelift.
The latest installment is hitting shelves on 8 November and it is already turning heads and creating hype.
Need for Speed Heat formally launches on Nov eight, but the racing game is playable right now for subscribers to EA Access and Origin Access on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Given the moniker “Heat”, this edition hopes to pour fuel on the fire of an amazing year for racers everywhere. With the return of GRID, the street racing war is back on in 2019.

This is the full version of Need for Speed Heat, though there is a timer that limits gameplay to 10 hours. As with EA’s different “Play First” trials, all gameplay progress carries forward to the full game should you decide to pick it up.
The series grew to legendary status on the PS2 thanks to Underground 2 and Most Wanted, but it has fallen away in recent years, with disappointing releases and poor critical reception.
EA Access costs $5/month or $30/year, and you can cancel any time. Need for Speed Heat is an associate open-world sports game set during a fictional version of Miami known as Palm town. There is an area unit quite a hundred cars within the game, but no loot boxes.
GameSpot recently got some active time with would like for Speed Heat, and our own Will Potter came away eager to play more. For more on his thoughts, check out GameSpot’s recent preview, “Why You Should Be Excited to Play Need For Speed: Heat.”
Free Play Days can run from Gregorian calendar month 12-22, and Xbox Live Gold members will be able to use the trial by downloading the EA Access Hub app.
Once the trial period ends, customers will have the option to subscribe at the usual price — $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year — and if they do, they’ll keep any progress they’ve created within the games.
An EA representative confirmed to two-dimensional figure that the trial doesn’t embody the opposite perks of EA Access, like the ten % discount for digital purchases of EA content in the Xbox Games Store.
