The second season will have eight episodes just like the first season. For now, the plan is to get the show into production in early 2020 for a 2021 release date. Even better, it seems like the main cast will be returning for the second season.

Regardless of what you’re into, there seems to be a Witcher property in there for you to enjoy, and it seems only natural for the franchise to dip into streaming television.
But for Netflix specifically, it helps them stand out when some really fierce competition in the streaming space has started to emerge.
Obviously, Disney+ is the largest streaming competitor, but with more and more new services sprouting up every day, like Apple’s new streaming service and the forthcoming HBO Max, it’s important that Netflix keep the great content coming.
