Sony has finally revealed the much-anticipated product— Sony FX9 camera. It comes with a never seen before full-frame, smooth hybrid autofocus and Dual-base-ISO lowlight camera facility.

Combining the strengths of Sony’s Venice system, the FS series, alongside the Alpha cameras, the FX9 hosts a new full-frame Exmor R 6K sensor that produces incredible 4K videos with 15-plus stops of wide flexible range.

Additionally, it also has rapid, smooth, and pinpoint Fast Hybrid AF, a dual base ISO, and only adds on to the strengths of its predecessor, the FS7 series.

When it is matched with the FX9, the lens enhances the already accurate autofocus, even when it is speedy subjects and a shallow depth of field. The lens’s two XA (Extreme Aspherical) aspects, three lenses, and an 11-blade spherical aperture allow the monstrous camera to reduce the area of curvature, and even the color alteration that might happen.

It is also worth noting that Sony’s exclusive Nano AR coating reduces the excessive flare and ghosting that otherwise usually occurs.

The separate rings i.e focus, zoom, and iris — can all be changed while shooting, and a straight response manual focus facility and focus ring make multiple captures an easier task.

The PXW-FX9 will be ready for pre-orders from September 16, 2019, at 3:00 PM EST, for $10998, or as a supply with the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm F4 OSS G E-Mount Lens for $13498. For advanced functionality, an XDCA-FX9 Extension unit ($10998), with 16bit RAW and D-Tap, will also be there.

The Sony FE C 16-35mm T3.1 G wide-angle zoom cinema lens will most likely hit the markets in the spring of 2020. This is widely touted to be a game-changer for those in the entertainment, news and sports industries. It might even attract the audience of casual YouTubers.
