Super Bowl LIV will see the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs match on Feb. 2. But enough about sports. Let us turn to the movie trailers, which will mix this up with the movie-like Super Bowl advertisements, some of that cost over real movies. It’s astounding: A, 30-second ad spot supposedly costs $5.6 million.

Some will tune in to the star-studded halftime show, including Shakira, J.Lo, and also a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. Some people could even be interested in the game itself. But for some, it is all about the blockbuster entertainment trailers, traditionally for films, but also for streaming TV series, which will debut into a massive worldwide audience throughout the big plan in between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49 Years.

A number of the companies spending millions to market during the Super Bowl have released their commercials. We showcase them. However, the studios are more tight-lipped in their film previews this year.

As of Friday, just a couple of Super Bowl film trailers or guarantees of one are on the market. On Friday afternoon, Disney released a “large game sneak peek” of the live-action Mulan remake that feels a lot like Crouching Tiger, Hidden.

Anton Volkov that runs the popular movie-news Twitter accounts and site Trailer Track notes that movie studios seem to have changed their approach to the first game in the past couple of years.

Volkov calls it among the biggest and greatest Super Bowl trailers of recent decades. Some of the more notable films seem to be skirting the massive game. The F9 trailer premiered in a Miami concert Friday. Therefore its Super Bowl look may be anticlimactic.

Fans always talk at Volkov begging for news about highly expected trailers, and there’s an evident tendency to what they’re hoping to view: anything out of Disney/Marvel — and lots of action. Disney and Marvel are the “staple of this big game, and people are hoping for Black Widow footage,” Volkov said.

However, Volkov said that because the studio released a second TV spot for Black Widow at mid-January, fans may not get a brand new trailer throughout the match. He admits that he, too, has”enormous hopes” to see a fresh trailer of Daniel Craig’s fifth and final Bond film, but he’s not expecting it.
