A New iOS 13 Update: With the modern Apple iOS 13 update, Spotify utilisers can now ask virtual attendant Siri to play their favorite music, podcasts, and playlists through iOS and iPadOS, the firm announced on Monday (Oct. 7).
To utilize the new feature, utilisers must say “Hey Siri, play *include name* on Spotify.” Like: “Hey Siri, play Shawn Mendes on Spotify” or “Hey Siri, play Sucker with Jonas Brothers on Spotify.”

“Yow you can hear to Disney Hits or a limited podcast like Set It Straight with Midland at labor, home, on the commute while practicing, or doing chores, all by telling the familiar ‘Hey Siri, play…’ to listen to the audio you want,” Spotify told the news release.
“Just make certain to update your iPhone to iOS 13–from there, recall to end each term with “on Spotify.”
Siri’s assistance for Spotify is accessible for iPhone, iPad, Carplay, AirPods, and HomePod through Airplay. Spotify also disclosed that a new Spotify application will be accessible on Apple TV.
The update arrives seven months after Spotify filed an objection against Apple with the European Commission (EC), the EC brand of the European Union, in March 2019.
One of those objections included Siri’s restricted functionality with non-Apple applications such as Spotify, and in return, was favoring its opponent Apple Music.
Apple published a statement on March 2019 reacting to Spotify’s complaint. In words of Siri integration, Apple reacted that “at the time we reached out to Spotify regarding Siri and AirPlay 2 support on various occasions, they have told us they are working on it, and we feel ready to help them where we are capable of.”
Other song streaming applications, such as Pandora, can also be enabled via Siri when revised to the iOS 13. It is a completely new experience which is being enjoyed by many of the people.
