Earlier British based chipset designer arm had halted relations with Chinese company Huawei after the US has placed a ban on Huawei and dozens of its affiliates,” clamming that Huawei products posses a significant risk of involvement in activities that concerns national security”,
but recently chipset designer arm has said it will be able to continue licensing its processor blueprints to the Huawei.
This is a complete reversal to earlier this year, the decision is good news for Huawei as it allows them to continue to create the chipset for its products.
The company’s legal team has reached the decision that it will be providing current as well as next-generation processors core designs to Huawei, arm-compatible CPU can provide the support to high silicon for armv8 architecture as well as the next generations of that architecture following a comprehensive review of both architectures, which are fixed on to be non-us origin, arm was quoted as saying in the report.
Because of our ban, Huawei was forced to launch its products including its mate 30 pros without google play, google maps, youtube, and several other key Google services.
It was able to obtain alternatives suppliers for other components and make its proprietary krin 990 mobile processor for mate 30 using arm’s design architecture.

On the other side worth noting that Huawei is doing fine without google’s services, and having an increased revenue despite us ban, the biggest concern of Huawei will be resolved after the green signal from the arm, Huawei will be able to start its manufacturing of its hi silicon chips which was halted in May 2019.
Huawei will be able to use arm’s license to power its newest krin 990 chipset processor, which is used in the mate 30 pro and the Huawei mate x.
