The outgoing CEO of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, after introducing new CEO Bob Chapek, made various announcements earlier today at Disney’s annual meeting. The one that stood out the most was the opening date of Avengers Campus, the MCU theme park that will be located in Disney California Adventure, one of the two parks within Disneyland.
Avengers Campus will open to the public on July 18, 2020. Park visitors will become the new recruits for the Avengers initiative, so through the various attractions, attendees will step into the shoes of heroes-in-training. in a completely new space focused on the iconic heroes of the MCU.
It is expected that for its opening, Avengers Campus will have six new and different attractions that can be enjoyed starting this summer. These attractions are in addition to the Guardians of the Galaxy, which has been in operation since May 2017.
It is an attraction for all ages where you can help Spider-Man escape from a WEB workshop.
You’ll climb into a WEB Slinger vehicle to weave a frenzied cobweb to catch Spider-Man-style villains.
