On January 2, former iKON member B.I launched a single named “DEMO.1” on his private SoundCloud account. Demo.1 is B.I’s first solo song since he revealed a personal issue on June 12. Last year that he was leaving iKON. To date, he has 94,412 SoundCloud fans. As of now, “Demo.1” has been played more than 528,000 times, 46,601 people have liked it, 5,762 times reposited, and more than 34,000 comments drawn.
The song has no beat and has only B.I’s voice. The lyrics comprise, “All my words may appear like excuses but I never implied to hurt you,” and “As we survive if we come across again, I rely upon you to stay loyal.”
The launch of the song prompted the hashtag #WelcomeBackHanbin on Twitter to trend worldwide for various hours as enthusiasts celebrated B.I’s come back to making music and the hugely personal lyrics of the track.
B.I made his debut at iKON, in September 2015. After him leaving the group. iKON became a group of six members. Composed of Chanwoo, Jinhwan, Bobby, Yunhyeong, and Donghyuk.
The iKON members have marked the birthday of member Donghyuk. Fell on January 3. Their final concert in Japan. The group members then shared some of their intentions with fans in 2020.
