The Korean singer hailing from Australia originally is a vocalist in girl band BlackPink. Rose whose real name is Park Chae Young, celebrated her birthday on the 11th of Feb.
But more than the singer it was the fans of Blackpink band who popularly known as Blinks from across the world made sure that the singer receives all the love they have for her.
Along with a birthday hashtag, Blinks flooded her social media accounts with messages full of love.
Roseanne Park is the name that she uses that famously became Rose as her stage name. She attended an audition of YG Entertainment at the age of 15 ib 2012 and to her unbelief she got selected. She got trained for 4 years before signing up for the famous Blackpink band. Blackpink is a South-Korean all-girls band with members such as Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa along with Rose.
The popularity of the band can be understood by the number of records it holds. The band ranks 41 in the list of Billboard Hot 100 and ranks 24 on Billboard 200. Thanks to their song, Kill This Love. Along with the song the band also became the first girl group in the K-Pop industry to not just enter but rank to the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists charts.
The band is also known to be the only band with 4 top songs ranked on the Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. And their song Ddu-Du Ddu-Du became the most viewed video on YouTube within the first 24-hours. The video is also the most viewed K-Pop video on the platform and their channel on it became the most followed.
Rose, on the other hand, became the 9th most followed celebrity from the K-Pop industry on Instagram which landed her with a social media birthday celebration.
