It has been up and down for BIGBANG since the release of their album MADE in 2016. The members had enlisted in the army.

Now the listing period for all the members has ended and they are together and ready for a comeback in Coachella. The band will be performing both the weekends of April event at Coachella.

It was tweeted by the Coachella Twitter account. The news was disclosed by first Taeyang, member of the group. Their company has also tweeted about it.

The last song that they released was Flower Road in March 2018. It will be the first act for BIGBANG after they went on a hiatus with the members enlisting in South Korea’s military and Seungri’s departure amidst legal and criminal investigation.

South Korea media had speculated that the band would not stay together following the series of high-profile investigations surrounding multiple members. But the Coachella announcement has put a mark that the band will return.

G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang and Daesung will be performing alongside Rage Against The Machine, Calvin Harris, Run The Jewels, Megan Thee Stallion and Rex Orange County.

BIGBANG debuted in 2006 and had been in hiatus since March 2018. T.O.P was discharged from his army duty in July, then came back G-Dragon in October.

Daesung and Taeyang were discharged in November. After Seungri’s departure, it will be the first band performance at Coachella.

The fans are excited about their return. Although South Lorea media speculated that they would not return but the show announcement shows otherwise.

Hopefully, they would come back much stronger and entertaining as ever, it is what the fans believe.
