Heeding to social media, last Wednesday, the 34-year-old actor released a moving statement to support those who might be enduring from suicidal reflections.

Since September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Morley used his outlet to speak about his past battles with suicide and depression.

“#SuicideAwarenessMonth has provided me with the courage to share my truth,” he began his caption on Twitter. “This information may hold personal cues for some, which is the last thing I want to do. But We must break the guilt and stigma and the remorse enclosing such a crucial issue. be well be kind.”

Later, in that same post, he also shared a longer letter. “I’m scared to say this but here goes: In my life, I have tried suicide more than a handful of times.

Death is just as horrifying for a depressed person as it is anyone else,” the statement read. “I have been fortunate enough to make it to the other side of the pitch-black tunnel, with my life intact.”

After his post, the 34-year-old actor’s spouse and co-star, Eliza Taylor, whom he wedded earlier this year, also took to social media to share her affection and comfort for her partner.

“I am the proud spouse of someone with a mental health condition,” she tweeted on Twitter. “A thing has become fundamentally very clear to me in the media of lately is the stigma surrounding mental health is ill-informed and negatively geared.”

The actress added, “My husband works day in and day out on his own mental health, not only for him but in the hope that he can help others who are suffering. I could not be prouder.”

This isn’t the first time Morley has chosen to talk straight up about his mental health crusades. Back in February, people denounced The Blinder star for his portrayal, which made him speak his mind about his depression.
