It’s safe to say that 2019 is an important year for BTS. The K-pop group not only made history with their map-topping single “Boy With Love” with their Map of the Soul: Persona album, they also received many prestigious awards and shared the legacy of ARMYs on their way home. Forward is on it.
Now, the band is looking forward to the new year, and fans may be wondering: Is BTS going to tour in 2020? Looking at the group’s latest social media posts, it certainly seems a possibility.
ARMYs will remember that BTS guys revealed on December 7 that fans will get new music in the new year. However, the band did not say when we should expect a map of the soul from the follow-up album: To Drop Persona, RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Wei, Suga, Jin and J-Hope promised new dangers.

Now, it looks like BTS is planning a tour in the pipeline to promote their upcoming album, so ARMYs can see their favorite members singing and dancing with these newest hits, IRL. On December 24, the group’s label Boy Band suggested it would hit the road next spring.
In the pur da-tinted image shared by BigHit Entertainment on Twitter, a reverse image of seven figures standing in the water can be seen above the word “tour”. The label is simply “April 2020. Tune in.”
The post is very cryptic, especially if it is difficult to create any details in the photo, but it certainly looks like RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Wei, Suga, Jin and J-Hope. But plan to go to promote some new music in the new year.
Many fans may think that “Tour” is the title of a movie about their previous tour or the name of their new album.
However, we all seem to be getting new BTS content within a few months and are happy to announce the ARMY.
This will help promote fan theories that BTS will announce their next album live on Times Square at the annual New Year’s Rockin ‘Eve celebration.
On December 17, Dick Clark Productions shared that the seven-man band will not only crack their movements but also sing their biggest hits in front of a live audience; there will also be a “surprise announcement” during the show.
Now, it may be a stretch to think that the announcement of the BTS album may be a shocking revelation, as outlined in the press release, but ARMY is keeping their fingers crossed and planning the tunes to come out on December 31, an unforgettable performance.
Only time will tell when fans can add new BTS content to their playlists, but according to Gemin, it’s worth the wait.
“We’re working on our next album now, and I hope to get a better album,” said the composer at the 2019 Menet Asia BTS Album of the Year speech. “Music Awards in November. Please do a lot to see it. ”
