The Amazon sci-fi series The Expanse welcomed a new cast for the show’s fourth season. The official Expanse Twitter account posted a short clip of actor Bern Gorman (Game of Thrones) as Adolphus Murti.
Bern Hugh Winchester Gorman (born 1 September 1974) is an English actor and musician. He was named Dr. in the BBC series Torchwood (200608). Owen Harper, Carl Tanner in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2013–14), Dr. in Pacific Rim (2013).
Harman is known for Gotlib and its sequel. Pacific Rim: Rebellion (2018), and Major Edmund Hewlett in the AMC series Bari: Washington’s Spies (2014). Gorman portrayed ‘The Marshall’ in the first season of the Amazon drama The Man in the High Castle.
Burman played the malicious Carl Tanner on Game of Thrones and also appeared in The Man in the High Castle, Pacific Rim and The Dark Knight Rises. His character on The Expanse is the head of security for Royal Charter Energy and is known for being both cunning and ruthless. And possibly a little psychotic.
The Expanse, James S. a. Corey is based on popular science fiction novels and was co-produced and written by Academy Award nominees Mark Fergus and Hawk Osby (Children of Children). The cast of The Expanse includes three-time Golden Globe nominee Thomas Jane (Deep Blue Sea), Oscar-nominee Shoheer Asgadashlo (Star Trek: Beyond) and Steven Strait (The Vabent).
The series crosses over a colonial galaxy 200 years into the future, when two strangers are inadvertently trapped in a larger plot. It is based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Daniel Abraham and Ty Frank (pen name James S. A. Corey) and stars Steven Strait, Shohre Aghadashlo, Dominic Tipper, Cass Anwar, Wes Chatham and Frankie Adams.
Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST) and David Strathiran (Alphas) also feature in the cast of season 3 in recurring roles.
Academy Awarded and nominated screenwriting duo to Hawk Osby and Mark Fergus (Iron Man, Children of Men) work alongside Shrunner Naren Shankar (Almost Human, Grimm) as an executive producer.
