Queensland firm Bansal Group has bagged the exclusive Australian franchise rights for Cinnabon and the first shop will open later this year.
A job ad posted online has given a big indication that US bakery biggie Cinnabon will be setting up a shop in Australia in a matter of a few short weeks.
The popular chain which is best known for claiming to sell the “world’s greatest cinnamon roll” will be seen working Down Under by Queensland family firm the Bansal Group, which has already started six Carl’s Jr burger joints in Queensland in the past year.

In January, the company declared that it would start its first Australian shop in Brisbane in 2019.
It also revealed their huge plans to bring 50 outlets across the country in a span of five years, although few minute details have been available since then.
But while status on the Cinnabon Australia Facebook page last month has revealed that the first store would be ready in November, a job ad quietly put up on online jobs marketplace Seek claims more outlets than previously expected were in the ‘store’.
The job ad, put up earlier this month, is for Cinnabon store recruits with “multiple hats available” in Mt Gravatt, Chermside and Mt Ommaney in Brisbane.
Also, the Courier-Mail also has claimed a fourth store in Nundah will be arriving much sooner than expected, with the outlets set to open in Toombul Shopping Centre, Westfield Chermside, Westfield Garden City, and Mt Ommaney Centre.
Courier-Mail has also told that the Nundah and Mt Gravatt stores will be ready in shopping centers before the Boxing Day.
This will come up most likely in “kiosks” left away by other food franchises that had closed their shops
The job ad reads ” MULTIPLE ROLES AVAILABLE for energetic managers who are ready to lead our team and grow their career”.
