On Thursday (Nov. 7), An anonymous weblog post appeared on Medium that detailed the racist company culture at Facebook.
The post was apparently written by a bunch of past and gift staff that claimed the racist culture notably affected black, Hispanic and feminine Asian staff.
This is not the first time the social media company has been accused of fostering a racist surrounding in their offices. In Nov 2018, a former worker referred to as out Facebook for having a black individual problem.

The recent anonymous post claimed that things have solely gotten worse since that accusation was publicized.
Several instances of racism within the workplace were shared, however, the post also highlighted the overall problem “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression don’t come back from the large moments.
It’s in the little actions that climb on overtime and build into a culture wherever we are only meant to be seen as quotas however ne’er detected, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.”
In the post, the employees detail a number of racist incidents, including a program manager who was asked by two white colleagues to clean up their mess and another employee who said human resources took no action when they reported an incident.
“We cannot afford to be vulnerable outwardly as a result of Facebook has created the North American nation a vulnerable target internally,” the anonymous staff wrote.
“The only issue we will hope for during this cathartic exercise is to influence amendment by sharing our stories and hope that nobody else experiences an equivalent discriminatory behavior that we have.”

The day when the post went up, Facebook executives responded with an apology. No one at Facebook should have to put up with this behavior, Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president of corporate communications said in a statement.
“We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand as a corporation. We’re listening and working hard to do better.
