After weeks of waiting and anticipating, Jesse Custer’s (Dominic Cooper) final chapter from “The Book of Genesis” is officially initiated. AMC‘s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon‘s Preacher will be reaching its fourth and final season gauntlet.

Tulip (Ruth Negga) is off to kill Humperdoo (Tyson Ritter). Just one little difficulty: Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) contracted Jesse to God (Mark Harelik).

If Humperdoo makes it to the stage on time, Cassidy will finally get to go home. Again, just one problem: Tulip needs the apocalypse to not happen.

The fate of the world is decided as the long journey of a preacher and his friends come to an end. There is a lot of people looking to die who are checking their watches – and God does like to stay on schedule:

As our story creeps closer to the finale, God’s endgame for the universe begins to snap into place. Trapped between heavenly prophecies, hellish prisons, and all-out nuclear war, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy make their bloody way to the Highest. Whether they can approach God in time — or whether all this destruction is a part of His holy plan — will soon be exposed as PREACHER reaches towards the end of the world.

So what made the two-hour season premiere of AMC’s Preacher especially unique? Seeing Emery up her “badass” level with some slick action sequences, and one of the best Rocky the Flying Squirrel imitations we have ever seen – and we are not even coming close to doing her justice.

While doing all of that onscreen, Emery was also taking over Bleeding Cool‘s Twitter account to answer questions and give some amazing behind-the-scenes views on the series’ production (sincerely, the wirework video for the flying suit scene alone deserves a visit to the Twitter account ).
