On Monday morning, Hurricane Dorian entered the Bahamas and left all the residents in utter shock as it flooded the streets and splintered homes. On the other hand, the United States of America braces itself for the hurricane’s impact on Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.

One of the residents claims that she has never been this afraid ever. Bruce Sawyer, a resident of the Bahamas’ says that it seems as if some bombs exploded in the city. Trees are falling in between the road and there is no greenery left anywhere.

Landfall occurred at Elbow Cay of the Abaco Islands as a result of Hurricane Dorian. It is considered as one of the strongest landfalls. The residents claim that the hurricane destroyed a lot of houses and their shelter homes as well.

Marcus Moore and his crew went to a hotel in the Abaco Islands and got to know that it was the only building standing after the hurricane. He also says that he could hear the sounds of debris falling. He also agreed that he could hear some people screaming at night.

Hubert Minnis, prime minister of The Bahamas says that the devastation was unexpected and their main aim is to rescue people and recover from the damage. Floridians are packing their stuff up and taking measures to escape from the city while they still have time.

The governor of Florida claimed that 72 nursing homes along the coast have been evacuated and the hospitals are also following the same action. From Florida, Dorian will turn towards Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Some coastal Georgian communities have been asked to be evacuated as the storm is expected to bring a huge amount of rainfall, storm and heavy flooding. The residents are advised not to take risks and evacuate the location if they can.
