The lineup for Coachella for 2020 is here. The most anticipated music festival will be held in April for two weekends. The lineup is also fantastic as ever.
The festival will commence with Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine. They are the event’s headliners.
Rage Against The Machine will perform on April 10 and 17. Travis Scott is set to perform on April 11 and 18 while Frank Ocean will be seen on April 12 and 19.
Rage Against The Machine first performed at the Coachella concert in 1999, 21 years ago. It was at the first Coachella festival.
The others that perform along with the headliners are Calvin Harris, Big Sean, City Girls, Omar Apollo, Rex Orange County, and Night Owls. Breakout stars Megan Thee Stallion and Ari Lennoxwill also be on the stage. Lil Nas x and Lana Del Ray will also perform.
On 3rd January, the full lineup for Coachella was released on Twitter. Weekend 1 is already sold out while tickets for Weekend 2 are available for presale.
In Coachella 2019, there were stars like Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande. They were the headliners.
Besides being a music festival, Coachella is a playground for A-list stars to hit up huge parties in the honor of the festival.
Ever since Coachella has become a golden standard for a music festival to live up to. Coachella was not that famous or successful when it started out in 1999.
It was a hit weekend of 1999 when only 10000 people attended the two-day event. The headliners were Rage Against The Machine, Chemical Brothers and Tool.
There were 50 other acts as well. Camping was not allowed then because it was held after fires and riots in Woodstock in 1999 and Goldenvoice feared any mishaps.
Coachella had gained positive reviews but it was still not earning profits. When the festivals got popular, Goldenvoice added another weekend to the event.
The location for Coachella has remained the same, at Empire Polo Field.
