The year 2020 is here and with lots of resolutions planned we move forward to the new decade. But while we step forward, we look back to all the celebs who left this world last year. Here is a list of known faces who will not be seen anymore…

 

 

  • Kushal Punjabi

 

Best known for his performances in Lakshya(2004), Kaal(2005) and Salaam-e-ishq(2007), Kushal Punjabi was found hanging from a fan at his home. A suicide note was also found by his side that blamed no one for his suicide.

 

 

  • Sue Lyon

 

The famous Lolita of the 1962 movie of the same name passed away on the 26th of December at Los Angeles after a declining health condition.

 

 

  • Doris Day

 

The actress who was known as America’s sweetheart passed away on the 13th of May.

  • Vidya Sinha

 

A face that has been in the Bollywood film industry for 45 years passed away on the 15th of august after her latest appearance in the film Pati, Patni Aur Woh.

 

 

  • Peter Mayhew

 

One of the most important characters of the Star War series passed away in April.

 

 

  • Girish Karnad

 

An extremely well-known and respectable film and theatre personality, Girish Karnad was a recipient of prestigious awards like Padma Shri, Padmabhushan and Jnanpith award. The artist, sadly passed away at the age of 81, on the 10th of June, 2019.

 

 

  • Luke Perry

 

Luke Perry who touched the sky with his stardom with a surprising performance in Beverly Hills 90210 left his fans a little too soon at the age of 52.

 

 

  • Veeru Devgan

 

The father of Ajay Devgan, Veeru Devgan was a veteran action choreographer and Filmmaker who passed away on May 27th, 2019 due to continual physical ailments.

 

 

  • Kader Khan

 

The famous Bollywood veteran actor who needs no introduction for he has graced more than 300 cinemas with his stellar performances. Kader Khan was hospitalized for breathlessness, passed away in a Canada hospital at the age of 81 on the 31st of December. Along with being an actor, Kader Khan has also been a screenwriter for more than 250 films.
