James Reid and Nancy McDonie of Korean pop group Momoland have been signed up to star in a TV series named Soulmate.
The show will be funded by Dreamscape and made by Antoinette Jadaone, who also directed James and girlfriend Nadine Lustre in the teleseryes On The Wings of Love and Till I Met You.
No further deets have been revealed but Dreamscape gave a sneak peek into some photos of the story conference that took place on Friday, October 4.
A soulmate is the brand new project of James after his stint as a judge for Idol Philippines.
Korean group Momoland has also officially signed a deal with ABS-CBN. The ladies were officially welcomed to the ABS-CBN compound by the network’s top brass.
Momoland made a name for itself for the viral “Bboom Bboom” dance. The group has earlier traveled the country for shows and has also been roped officially as an endorser of Frontrow, a company popular for its wellness, health, and beauty products.
This is going to be the debut television series for Nancy who will be keen to add this to her CV.

James Reid has a solid previous experience. His roles in two Jadaone series with real-life girlfriend Nadine Lustre, namely: “Till I Met You” (2016) and “On The Wings of Love” (2015).
Momoland agreed to a contract with ABS-CBN last Friday to do various projects with the network. The proposal includes a travel show as well.
