Country cricketer Jason Aldean spent a difficult time during the 2017 mass shooting that took place during his set at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas.
During a visit to “The Kelly Clarkson Show”, 42-year-old Aldean opened up about how he struggled with the evening’s tragedy, saying he would “never wish on anyone.”
“I think for us, going back to Vegas was something that I think we wanted to do correctly,” Aldean said of his recent return to the city.”
we felt that there were going to be a lot of people on our show who might not have been at one of our shows – maybe there hasn’t been a concert since that show if they were going to come out. And it was part of the healing process for them; we wanted to make it a safe environment.

Aldean’s concert took place at MGM, an arena with 5,000 seats, with more than 20,000 people attending the celebration.
“It was a little smaller, a little more intimate where people could come in and hopefully feel a little more relaxed,” he said.
Aldine discussed the difficulties of moving on from the evening, noting that he and his band had to start playing soon after the shooting.
“We were supposed to come on stage next week and try to do it all,” he said, noting that coming back on stage was “hard”.
Before the age of 2, Mascara, Jason Alden, spoke of those who met at the rate of 91 ‘family’.
“The best thing that can happen to me is that my wife was there and passed by, my band was there, and everybody in my crew went there,” Aldean said. “And so we leaned on each other for that stuff and talked through it, and nobody kept it bottled.”
“If you had a breakdown, you had it in front of everyone, and everyone knew what was going on,” the singer said.
More than 50 people died, and the bullet injured hundreds.
“We’re on the other side of it,” Aldean concluded. “We are now part of the Route 91 family, so this is a good group.”
