Suitable for everyone

Each soundbar offers Dolby Digital decoding as standard, an optical digital input, plus one HDMI ARC-supporting output. With the best of three being the JBL Bar 5.1 Surround, it is presently priced at $606 and sits over 101cm wide. The also soundbar features five full-range drivers, two side-firing tweeters and works hand-in-hand with JBL’s MultiBeam sound technology to deliver a panoramic surround sound. It comes with a 25cm wireless subwoofer and an HDMI input, as well.

Line of excellence

The JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass, priced at $330 produces an impressive 300W of power and includes a 16cm wireless subwoofer to help with bass duties. This model also has an HDMI input but loses the 4K HDR support and streaming options are limited to Bluetooth. Similar to the Bar 5.1, the JBL Bar 2.1 Deep Bass model also has a front display.

A stripped-back affair

A more affordable option of the trio is the JBL Bar 2.0, priced at a mere $165. At just 61cm long, it’s sure to appeal to those tight on space. Although it has a subwoofer like its siblings, it shares the feature to retain Bluetooth connectivity.
