The popular American Actor and Dancer Jenna Lee Dewan are all set to get her maiden name restored after being divorced from Channing Tatum since 2018.
However, in the eyes of law, she is better known as Jenna Tatum but following the divorce, the star’s attorney has filed a plea to reduce her maiden name back to Jenna Dewan.
Jenna and Channing took divorce legally in 2018 and became single in November 2018 but the legal settlement did not include a name change for her.
So, she has now filed in court to restore her maiden name. Both are moving on ways from each other and it is said that Jenna moved to a new house with her boyfriend Steve Kazee.

Though there is a custody battle still on for Channing and Jenna along with the property settlement, this name change has also added to the legal paperwork.
She has strongly claimed to remove her ex-husband’s name from that of her’s after a custody agreement for their 6-year-old daughter had come to some terms.
Sources claim that the custody will be 50/50 and have agreed to work with a counselor to plan holidays and custody time with their daughter.
The couple filed the divorce after 8 years of marriage and finally ended it in November 2018 following which the custody battle is also closed.
Now, the claim for restoring Jenna’s maiden name is in court which is also expected to be closed shortly according to sources.
