The Marvel actor Jeremy Renner allegedly threatened to kill himself and his ex-wife, according to a lawsuit. According to Pop Culture Times.
Jeremy Renner, the actor who plays Hawkeye in Marvel’s Avengers Movies is the least favorite character who has been accused of drug use and abuse.
His ex-wife claims that the actor shoved a gun in his mouth and threatened to kill her.
Sonni Pacheo, 28, alleges that last November Renner, 48 was drunk and high on cocaine at a club when he told someone he could not deal with her anymore.
The filings also state that Renner put a gun into his mouth and threatened to kill himself before firing the gun into the ceiling with their 6-year-old daughter Ava was asleep in her bedroom.
The star, who plays the superhero Hawkeye in the Marvel films, is locked in a custody battle with Sonni Pacheco over their six-year-old daughter, Ava. Sonni Pacheco is a Canadian model who married Renner in January 2014. After a year, She filed for a divorce and has accused her ex-husband of drug use and emotional abuse. A representative for Renner also said the allegations are one-sided.
In legal documents lodged in Los Angeles, Pacheco, who is seeking full custody of the couple’s daughter, claims Renner once threatened to kill her.
Pacheco also alleges Renner took cocaine while looking after Ava and once left the drug on a bathroom counter within the child’s reach.
A representative for Renner told People magazine: The wellbeing of his daughter, Ava, has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy.
These allegations are incredibly disturbing and if they are true, Disney and Marvel need to drop Renner from their line up as soon as possible.
A court hearing in the city is set for November 7th. As well as his role in the Marvel films, Renner, who is 48, earned Oscar nominations for films The Hurt Locker and The Town.
