Kendall Jenner is present in New York for Fashion Week, but she’s experiencing some real catwalk FOMO. The supermodel face of Stuart Weitzman will only be attending the shows this season, not walking in them.
“It’s a lot more mellow to just go, but I am not gonna lie, today I was really it,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star said in an interview with Vogue. “I was watching the girls, and I was like, ‘Damn, I really to walk. I really do’.” She indicated she will be off to Milan, and as for the other Fashion Weeks, she told, “TBD.”
Jenner, 23, also is the icon of Longchamp and she even attended the brand’s Spring show on Sept. 7 in a long-sleeved fashionable dress from the collection and was seated alongside Julianne Moore, Kate Moss and Moss’s teenage daughter Lila Hack.
Jenner’s opinion on the much-fancied show? “I loved it, I think it was amongst my favorites,” she said. “It was really cool, chic, and bright — it had a positive energy to it.”
Brandon Maxwell dresses some of the world’s most influential women including Obama and Gaga. The model has been taking an off from the catwalk over the last year, noting that Fashion Weeks can easily trigger her anxiety.
Even off the grid, though, Jenner is happy to be back in New York enjoying the NYFW energy. “I love New York,” she told Vogue. All the Fashion Weeks, everyone gathers together for each one, but for this one, in particular, it’s those people and then some. It’s such fun and everybody is looking to have a brilliant time.”
She’s ready too, with a hectic schedule of shows and evening events, she reported to W, expecting “packed nights as in like going out with friends … That’s what Fashion Week is, after all, isn’t it?”
The 17th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” premiered last night on Bravo.
