NCIS Season 17 is all geared up for a release and with the last episode of the last season, season 16 hinting towards the return of Ziva David, it leaves the fans with a lot of Major questions about Tony.
Naval Crime Investigative Service is an American Television Series on CBS that is based on the theme of crime and investigation involving various fictional characters as special agents. Ziva David one of the main characters of the series was killed(at least that’s what it seemed like) in season 13, was brought back at the end of Season 16 and is being expected to team up with Gibbs(another important character) to solve some of the big crimes and cause some adrenaline rush as the best crime investigators to the audience.
The show-runners Frank Cardea and Steve Binder teased the audience with some of the questions that the audience should be asking about NCIS hinted towards the upcoming story twists on the season. What can be assumed from what the show-runners had to say about NCIS season 18, is that Gibbs has broken Rule 10 and has gotten involved emotionally with his last cast. It will be interesting to see how Gibbs pairs up with Ziva to solve another case with his sensitive heart and how things turn up with the way Gibbs behave especially with Ziva around.
The show-makers have also teased that this season will get to see more of other characters as well and how they get involved in the story. NCIS might dig a little deeper into the lives of Jimmy Palmer and Kasie.
But with Ziva’s return on the show, fans are curious if Tony another of their favorite characters of the show will return too, Tony left the service to raise his and Ziva’s daughter for Ziva was considered dead in season 13. Now with the return of Ziva, expecting Tony’s return shouldn’t be shocking to the makers.
The show-runners Cardea and Steve neither confirm nor deny Tony’s re-entry in the show this season. So, though Tony’s return is not denied altogether, expecting to see him in this season looks questionable. Season 18 premieres September 17, Tuesday, 8:00 pm ET on CBS for fans and followers of NCIS to find out!
