At the end of Season 2 of the NBC’s Crime Drama Good Girls, the audience sat at the edge of the seat, grabbed pearls, and drank at the same time a bottle of Olivia Pope-sized wine. In the last episode of the season, plans for Beth, Annie, and half of Ruby and very illegal gold plans came back and plagued them greatly.
The problematic relationship between Prime Minister Beth and the interests of love/trafficking/thorns on her side sacrificed her what she was trying to protect, and Agent Turner, right behind her, Trapped her for her crime.
The high energy seasonal climax has completely changed the trajectory of the show. Beth decided to get Rio out of the scene and make a split decision to put the woman in the business driver seat.
Good Girls fans worried that the hit series wouldn’t return to the screen after a wonderful show on network TV (Hello, The Good Place!). What do you do without the gang fight spirit of our favorite girls or the sharp and dazzling angles of Rio’s face?
Fortunately, Good Girls’ third season will return to NBC on February 16, 2020, so you don’t have to imagine a world without Beth and a gang! Although it may be a long way to go, the story of three mothers becoming Michigan criminals is becoming more complicated.
This is what we know about the next season so far.
Book clubs are in unstable places.
After last season’s event, Mom is not on the exact same page. Ruby is not interested in continuing her work after risking her husband’s relationship with Stan. Beth’s sister, Annie, is also disillusioned with her long scam as she discovers that her new boyfriend, Noah, is in fact the FBI trying to seduce her.
With two out of three not convinced of the benefits of criminal life, Beth would find it very difficult to convince the team that the upcoming commercial adventure has long-term value.
