    Netflix dropped the dates of the premiere of season three of the Crown series and fans were super happy till they got to see the new cast of the third season.

    Well, they are not exactly upset; instead, they have a bittersweet feeling towards the beginning of season three.

    Season three takes a leap and features the story of Queen Elizabeth II. For the role of the queen, Olivia Colman was the chosen face. Netflix released a promo for the third season of the crown which indicated that it was the time to bid farewell to Claire Foy as the queen and accept Olivia Colman as the new queen with open arms.

    The trailer featured the treasure and Academy award-winning actress, Olivia Colman in a royal and graceful look. Fans took social media to express their sorrow for not being able to see Claire as the queen again but they expressed excitement for seeing Olivia as the new queen. The first season of the Historical Drama was aired on the 4th of November 2016. The second season followed up on the 8th of December 2017.

    This show is created by Peter Morgan, him being the writer as well. Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television produced it for Netflix.
