Nick Gordon who is the prior boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has expired three years post he was discovered liable for her death.
Gordon’s attorney named Joe Habachy substantiated his death to CNN but did not give out details on the reason. He was 30.
“My heart is not light today post learning that my lengthy-time client Nick Gordon expired … while I cannot converse to the particular circumstances of his death, I can state that it has been truly heartbreaking to have seen initial hand the complete devastation that drug addiction has wreaked over a group of young friends, all of whom were adored and had huge potential,” Habachy conversed in a statement Wednesday.
Gordon was acquired by Whitney Houston when he was 12 years old and brought up alongside the singer’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
Gordon and Brown became romantically included past Houston’s death in 2012, and tensions in the Gordon and Houston families through the relationship were the inclusion of the storyline on Lifetime’s limited-lived reality serial “The Houstons: On Our Own.”
Their relationship was involved in the spotlight post it became public, included by the death of Brown post she was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015. She was in a coma till her death six months post.
An autopsy said that drug intoxication and inclusion in water were the reason for pneumonia and brain harm that finally led to Brown’s death.
No harmful charges were filed for Gordon but he was discovered legally relied upon for Brown’s death in a civil case and in 2016, was given the order to pay $36 million to the estate of his expired girlfriend.
Gordon did not succeed to appear for twin hearings in the civil case in Brown’s expiration, and her family acquired by default.
