Oculus hosted the initial day of Oculus Connect 6 on Wednesday, and VR fans from all over the world tuned in to listen to the latest news with respect to all things Oculus.
The hugest news of the day is Oculus Link, which enables you to connect your Quest with a PC via a USB-C cable to enter Rift content, but Oculus earned several splashes, comprising announcing Horizon — a social center for VR — hand and finger tracking for Quest, and games like Vader Immortal Episode II and Medal of Honor Above and Beyond.
Oculus Connect 6 will go on tomorrow, Sept. 26, and you can watch it live.

Oculus Link has two main components; a software update to the Oculus Quest and a new 5-foot-long USB-C cable. The upside is your Oculus Quest will be eligible to plug into your gaming PC and fiddle all the games an Oculus Rift S can.
This is big for anyone with a Quest, and aa slightly sad for anyone who opts the Rift S because of some of those specialties.

Facebook Horizons looks like it is going to be aa big social hub for the Oculus platform. It will enable you to build avatars, join each other in virtual worlds that you can build, and to play games concurrently. Like Facebook, you will be eligible to message the people you find there and create groups for activities all from inside the program.
Obviously, this huge social experiment is only usable on Oculus products, so not exactly aa big amount of people will be utilizing it.
