The most popular playlist is one called “COVID-19 Quarantine Party” created by Alistair Ryan. Yesterday, @maleedus tweeted about the playlist saying: “So there’s a COVID-19 Quarantine Playlist on Spotify and when I checked the songs I died.”
it quickly went, ahem, viral. The playlist aptly opens with ‘Toxic’ by Britney Spears before going into tracks like ‘Cough Syrup’ by Young and the Giant and ‘SICKO MODE’ by Travis Scott.
In a cheeky reference to how the disease spreads and is treated, Interpol’s ‘Take You On A Cruise’ and the Cast of Doc McStuffin’s ‘Welcome to the Hospital’ also have a rightful place in the playlist.
