Baz Luhrmann who is an Australian director is working on a new film which is based on the life of Elvis Presley, late American Singer and Actor. Presley’s ex-wife is Priscilla Presley and has an important role in the movie.
Presley said that he had been involved with Baz. She also added that he had come to his home, and he had been emailing him. He also said that they were going to be hosting another lunch at his home. He would be keeping him on top of everything. It has been wonderful. He refers to him as a genius.
Tom Hanks will be taken in as the manager of Elvis. Colonel Tom Parker will participate as an important role in the movie.
With Tom hanks and Colonel Tom Parker, the cast has Austin Butler as the late singer, along with Ansel Elgort, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Miles Teller as well as Harry Styles.
The director baz claimed in an interview that he knew he could not make this movie if the casting was not right, and they investigated thoroughly for a lead actor with the capability to evoke the single natural movement and voice qualities of this seamless star, but also the inside vulnerability of the artist.
Then he also added that throughout the casting process, it was a privilege for him to face such a different variety of talent.
He had recalled of Austin Butler from his amazing role opposite Denzel Washington in The Iceman Cometh on Broadway, and from a journey of excessive screen testing and music and performance workshops, he knew unequivocally that he had figured out someone who could inculcate the spirit of one of the world’s most amazing musical figures.
Lana Del Ray who is The American Singer is reportedly interested in playing Priscilla, although the singer does not have any movie experience. A source confirmed that Lana feels it has a role she was made for.
Elvis expired because of a heart attack on August 16, 1977, and was aged 42.
