A protection order has been granted for American television star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, 34. This emergency order for protection is granted to him against his ex-girlfriend Jen Harley, 32 after he says she attacked him.
This fact is confirmed by American weekly magazines for celebrity PEOPLE. On Wednesday, January 15, lawyer of Ortiz-Magro said in a statement to PEOPLE that Ortiz-Magro, the Jersey Shore star was inhumanly assaulted while he was sleeping on the evening of Saturday. He again became the victim of domestic violence at the hands of Jennifer on Saturday night.
The lawyer also said that while his client was sleeping, Ms. Harley entered his home and physically assaulted him very cruelly. The Las Vegas Police Department was immediately called by Ronnie and a domestic violence complaint was filed against Jennifer. Then, the next morning, Ronnie was granted an Emergency Order for Protection Against Domestic Violence by a Family Court Judge in the Clark county of Las Vegas, Nevada District court.
The Emergency Order is in effect till February 25, 2020. Harley’s lawyer Lisa Bloom after hearing the PEOPLE statement said that Harley has yet to get the preventive order. The case against her should be opposed.
Bloom said in a statement to PEOPLE that Ronnie Ortiz violated the restraining order that is effective against him. Bloom also said on Wednesday that they have not received any restraining order against her. If she gets any restraining order, then it will be opposed by them. Jenn wants to raise her baby in peace.
Their relationship is volatile. Both accused each other of abuse and betrayal. Earlier on October 4, 2019, Magro was arrested on a kidnapping charge after an alleged quarrel with Jenn. The Los Angeles police at about 2:40 a.m. filed the report. Both the victim and suspect were involved in a physical quarrel. The police officers after investigating found that minor violence occurred between them. No further reports of violence happened after that.
