Azriel Clary, 21, and Joycelyn Savage, 23, told the American CBS channel that they are “absolutely” in love with Kelly, and dismissed allegations that the 52-year-old artist convinces the women he houses in houses that operate as places of sexual worship.
“We live with him, and we are in a relationship with him,” said Clary about Kelly, who returned to jail on Wednesday for not paying the child support.
It is “a very strong relationship,” Savage added. When asked about the type of sexual relationship with Kelly, Clary said: “I would never share with anyone what I do inside or outside the room,” he said.
“There are people all over the world who have multiple girlfriends,” he said. “This is no different,” Savage said.

Last month, Kelly, prosecuted for decades over allegations that include child pornography, sexual abuse and false imprisonment, pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four victims, three of them minors. That case is not linked to the women he currently lives with.
In 2017, a report by the US virtual media group BuzzFeed claimed that the musician had kept women virtually as sex slaves in their homes in Chicago and Atlanta.
But Clary’s parents published a statement shortly after the interview was issued saying that their daughter “currently suffers from years of mental abuse and manipulation by R. Kelly.”
Kelly’s ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, had also previously denounced the artist for domestic abuse.
Detroit police revealed Thursday that they were also investigating a complaint of a sexual assault in 2011, which involved a 13-year-old girl.
