24 Wrestling Speak recently spoke to Ring of Honor’s Mark Haskins ahead of one of the biggest matches of his career. The former PROGRESS World Champion will be teaming with BOLA 2019 winner Bandido to take on The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.
When asked about what he and Bandido (of Lifeblood) have as a team to dethrone one of the most established teams in ROH history, The Briscoes, Haskins replied that Bandido is one of the fastest rising stars in Wrestling today and he is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world who is fed up of being overlooked. They both have a point to prove and if they go in there with a world-class team like the Briscoes and tear it up it will speak volumes to those watching.
When asked if he felt the pressure of heading into what is possibly the biggest match of his ROH career to date, Haskins replied that there was no pressure as he loved being in there with the Briscoes because those boys can go and he wanted to get stuck in.
24 Wrestling Speak also asked Haskins that whether there are any tag teams in ROH that he is expecting to be stepping up to challenge him if he won the belts. Haskins nonchalantly replied that anyone who wanted to have a go can come to get involved.
He had never backed down from a challenge and he also thought Bandido will not either. He even thought that maybe some of the new Japanese boys would like a shot, and he would be game. But his challengers just need to bring their A-game as he wants to go with the best only.
Also, when asked whether he thought British wrestling is dead, Haskins firmly denied and said whoever thought so is an idiot.
