Never has an ex-wife been so enthusiastically loyal to her ex-husband. But the relationship between the Duchess and Duke of York is not straightforward.
The Duchess has once again leapt to the defence of the beleaguered Duke, branding the Jeffrey Epstein scandal engulfing him as “nonsense”.
She said the last six months had been “very hard” on both her and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
“To see such an amazing man, go through such enormous pain,” she told Vogue Arabia. “He is the best man I know. It is just incredible what he has done for Britain, and it is all nonsense.”
The Duchess disclosed that the mental health of men was pertinent. It is vital. More should be eloquent on it. She and The Duke were divorced in 1996. They were separated after ten years of their marriage. However, they were still close to each
Last month, an evening before the News Night interview was aired, she labelled her ex-husband as one giant of a principled man. She gave him commendation on Instagram.
The Duchess was out of the country for the week. The interview was recorded. Sources revealed that she prejudiced a documentary. It was about the work that the Duke engaged in. His private secretary, Amanda has persuaded him to engage in it.
It revealed the Duke’s relationship with Epstein. He has slept with Virginia Roberts Giuffre. The latter claimed to be a victim of trafficking to the UK. The documentary destroyed him and lead to his fall.
His title of the royal was stripped. However, The Duke has denied engaging in any of these acts. He told me that there are no records of him sleeping with Ms Roberts Giuffre.
The Duchess concede that that was a difficult time for her as well. Her daughters were exposed to such brutal scrutiny.
“They say that unless they are perfect, it’s front-page news, and that’s hard. I used to say to anyone who came to see them. Do not bring your problems to my girls. It’s not their problem.”- she revealed.
