Many celebrities in Hollywood are known for their acting talent inherited from their parents.
Though many do not know, the Law and Order SVU star Mariska Hargitay is also one such celebrity kid who imbibes it from her actress mom – Jayne Mansfield.
Jayne died in a car accident in 1967 when Mariska was just 3 years old. Though Mariska was young at that time and hardly got much time with her mother, she still feels close to her mother.
In a throwback picture on social media, she has shown her love for her late mother. This is one of her ways to show her love and this picture came a few days before her 56th birthday and it got many shares for National Hugging Day too.
The picture shows the blonde lady flaunting a fur coat and squeezing herself like a bombshell.
Mariska wrote “I am hugger”, with the hashtag #IGotItFromMyMama. This sweet callout was loved by fans and commented about the resemblance she had with her mother. One also mentioned that Mariska sounds like the late actress – Jayne.
It has been a tough time to come up in life without Jayne, the actress famous for her Marilyn Monroe impressions and her roles in The Girl Can’t Help movie.
But this sad feeling has never laid her back. She had said in the past that the way she lived with the loss was by leaning onto it with a lot of darkness but has seen a lot of light on the other side too.
She also has said that she has learned a lot from her mother and discovers how many things are common amongst them.
She has expressed that her mom was amazing, beautiful and a glamorous sex symbol. She also revealed that Jayne played violin, had a 160 IQ, she had 5 kids and had a special love for dogs. Jayne had a hunger for life and that Mariska shares with her.
