Terrence Howard acknowledges that his acting career will soon hit the end. The star of the “Empire”, 50, said that he wants to commute in a different direction and aim at bringing out the truth to the world.
In an interview that he had with Extra, he announced that when he’s hit Fox series will come to a halt, after its approaching sixth season, he will be finished with acting. He also said that he is done pretending.
When asked if he would shift his focus into philanthropic work, Howard replied that no, he would not turn to philanthropy. He is just focusing on exposing the truth to the world.
The entertainer reflected on his last scenes playing love-to-hate Lucious Lyon. He likewise says about the cast and that he adores the cast members and he will miss them a lot, and the group.
The news of his expected retirement clashes with Howard’s recent legal problems, as his finances are reportedly being checked by the federal government over non paid taxes.
According to the court documents received by The Blast, Howard, his third wife Mira Pak and Universal Bridges Inc. which is a company owned by Pak, are under security checks by the United States Attorney’s Office located in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Howard was reportedly thrown with $143,538.61 tax lien in April, for taxes he illegally owes since 2010.
This is not the first brush with the law that Howard had. He also encountered tax liens in 2010 for $1.1 million and during 2006 for over $600,000, as per the record by The Blast.
Howard and Pak bore two sons together before getting divorced in July 2015 only to get back later the same year. Howard proposed to Pak again in December 2018.
