Some Tesla holders will soon have more to do in their cars than barely driving them. Karaoke, anyone?
The car firm on Thursday declared its latest software update, Version 10, which will ask a number of new characteristics that range from a self-driving characteristic to Caraoke, a tool that gives rise to a library of songs and lyrics in numerous languages to the car’s center console.
Customers will start obtaining prompts to update their cars’ software in arriving days.

Naming it Tesla’s (TSLA) “biggest software update till now” Version 10 “is yet one more example of how Tesla ownership proceeds to get better over the moment,” the firm said in its blog post declaring the update.
Tesla distributed a record 95,000 cars in the three months expiring in June, but it has still strived to turn a profit in recent quarters. The firm projected it would thrive earnings for the quarter expiring in September, an objective that may be helped by the new contributions.

Named “Smart Summon,” this modern feature will make it feasible for cars to steer through a parking lot to its landlord — without anyone in — so long as the car is within the owner’s line of the picture. Smart Summon is accessible for customers who bought full self-driving capability or improved autopilot on their cars.
Tesla said in a blog post that it is the perfect feature to utilize if you have an overflowing shopping cart, are trading with a fussy child, or simply do not want to step to your car through the rain.
The company did expand, though, that customers who utilize the feature must stay responsible for the car and monitor it and its surroundings at all moments.
With the update, Tesla consumers who drive a Model S, Model X or Model 3 will be prepared to connect their Netflix (NFLX), Hulu and YouTube account to the point center console to watch — as long as they are parked.

China-based consumers will be able to relate iQiyi and Tencent Video, and Tesla said it anticipates to add more flowing and entertainment services over the period.
