Jonah Hill could be headed towards Robert Pattinson in the cast of the Warner Brothers’ all-new “The Batman.”
The actor/director/ comedian is in negotiations with the makers to play an undisclosed villain in the film, reported sources close to The Variety.
Jeffrey Wright of the “Westworld” fame has also been in talks to essay the role of Commissioner Gordon, according to a report by Hollywood Reporter.

A few months, Warner Bros revealed that Pattinson had been signed up as the newest Batman, drawing a mixed response ― although the most famous Batman Christian Bale lends support for the “Twilight” actor.
The reboot will be crafted by Matt Reeves, popularly known for directing “War for the Planet of the Apes”. The highly anticipated film is expected to go on floors soon, with filming touted to start late this year or early in 2020. The much-awaited release date will be on June 2021.
Reports speculated that one amongst Penguin and The Riddler will most likely be the role he will be considered for but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Some fans opine that it’s a no-brainer. Penguin would be the most appropriate choice for Jonah considering his appearance and the way he conducts himself. Although he has cut down on his weight, the fans are convinced that no one can do it better than him.
However, others have noted that he has got the variety to take on almost any villain role, especially someone as dark and sinister as The Riddler.
It’s worth noting that both the parties are keeping mum on this whole issue. For all we know, the deal could still go off at any given time. We can only wait and hope that the deal goes through because honestly, it’s about time we all get a fantastic Batman film.
