Mandalorian, who introduced the world to Baby Yoda, has been confirmed for the second season of the live-action Star Wars television series.
Producer John Favro posted the news on Twitter on the same day that the first season of the streaming platform Disney + was discontinued.

Although the second installment was widely known – Favre publicly discussed working on it before launching “The Mandalorian” – the release date was welcomed by “Star Wars” fans.
The hit series follows a mysterious ount dog hunter played by Petro Pascal (Game of Thrones), who is looking for mercenary work in the illegal suburbs of the galaxy.

In the first season, they formed a small, impossible life bond called “The Child”, but Baby Yoda was called by its iconic online fans.
Naughty, a wide-eyed tyke has launched thousands of memos, pushed Democratic presidential candidates to the top of news searches, and garnered dedications from Hollywood A-listers.
Its online surname is similar to Yoda’s original trio. But since the “Mandalorian” is set after those films, it appears to be a new character.
Industry watcher Rishta tweeted, “As if they had no choice. If the baby Yoda was not given another season, social media ount day hunters would face John (Favre) in carbonite.”
This news dominates the Star Wars movie “The Rise of Skywalker” at the movie theater box office worldwide.
Despite the poor reviews, Disney said Friday that the decades-long Skywalker saga has ended at $ 572 million worldwide since its release last week.
Disney owner Bob Iger told AFP at this month’s film premiere that the success of “Mandalorian” is key to the future of the franchise.
“As the Mandalorians point out, this is just the beginning of endless stories heard from far away galaxies,” he said.
“Mandalorian has given us the ability to be a little more patient (releasing new movies) because we think we are serving ‘Star Wars’ fans.”
“And it gives us the luxury of being more intelligent.”
