Christopher Edward Nolan, CBE was born on 30 July 1970. He is a British-American film director, screenwriter, and producer known for making personal, distinctive films within the Hollywood mainstream. His films grossed over $ 4.7 billion worldwide and garnered a total of 34 Oscar nominations and ten wins.
Born and raised in London, Nolan developed an interest in filmmaking from an early age. After studying English literature at University College London, he made his film debut with (1998).
Nolan gained international recognition with his second film, Memento (2000), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Contemporary Screenplay.
Nominations included, for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay. This was followed by Interstellar (2014), and Dunkirk (2017), receiving Academy Award nominations for Best Film and Best Director.
Nolan has co-written several of his films with his brother Jonathan, and production company Syncopy Inc. with his wife Emma Thomas.
For months, as he fired his cast, we were surprised that Christopher Nolan’s mysterious new film returned to the genre he had dubbed with the likes of Inception and Interstellar.
Now our first taste, we’re still mostly left in the dark – but it’s obvious that something strange is going on here. Warner Bros. has finally released the first teaser for the months-long teaser, which is seven months later.
John David Washington is portrayed as an enigmatic agent who worked to escape the Casalcemic War – seemingly after he died – the trailer is surprisingly for a Nolan film, as it is secret.
But it does reveal at least one thing about the theory: there is clearly something dissolving over time because Washington’s character has a level of sensitivity to the flow of time — something to shoot his hands off.
