The first flagship tablet PC of the Wacom was released in 2016. Battery life was one of the main problems of this device. Wacom finally gave people a 2019 update in hardware and software for in the Mobile Studio Pro16.
This device is specifically made for professionals in the field of visual creativity and pen computing. This device was probably the response to Microsoft Tablet PC convertibles becoming popular. Wacom was better at pen computing so stepping into converting PCs to tablet displays was obvious for them. Wacom has helped other companies in their tablet PCs as HP ZBook X2.

Wacom has focused on its internal hardware updates. The device comes with Intel Core i7-8559U CPU @ 2.7 GHz which can boost up to 4.5 GHz. It has 16GB of RAM. It comes with 512GB SSD for storage. For ease in working with high graphics applications, Wacom added NVIDIA Quadro p1000. It has a 4 GB of CPU memory.
Wacom has also added Intel Iris plus Graphics 655 GPU for power saving graphics. The display is a 4K 3840×2160 pixel screen. It has 85% Adobe RGB color space. It has 8192 points for pressure sensitivity. For pro pen 2 tilt recognition it has pro-grade Electromagnetic resonance.
Wacom has however down-graded the cameras. It has equipped the device with 2.1mp cameras in front and rear. The device has USB-C type ports. These ports support connectivity of 340Gbps. New accessories are added to the box.
A new metal stand is added in the box. The device has customization keys in its bezels. The device also has a fingerprint scanner. The middle button in the bezel has a fingerprint sensor in it. There are 8 buttons in the bezels.
