The Bernie Sanders was astounding with Bob Iver playing a set in Iowa yesterday. During the solo set at the end of the rally, Justin Vernon performed Bob Dylan covers along with a host of Bob Iver material as well as a Leon Russel song.
At the Horizon events center in Clive, Iowa he performed to conclude the rally in which Vernon sand ‘A song for you’ and ‘With God on our side’. Other tracks such as ‘Blood Bank’, ‘for Emma’ and others with a piece of ‘The Times They are A-Changin’ were also performed. Watch out all the performances here.
It’s not just Vernon who is getting behind Sanders in this race for the Democratic presidential election. There were others also who played a set at the rally at Iowa. On February 10 there is expected to be another rally in New Hampshire.
It isn’t the first time that Bon Iver is supporting Bernie Sanders. In 2016, Vernon played in his hometown Eau Claire, Wisconsin in a rally at Sanders. Bon Iver is set to return to the UK after the rally in April and will participate in a huge arena tour to support their album ‘I, I’ which is their fourth album that was released in August 2019.
All the music had been a great attraction at the Democratic presidential candidate rally this year which is going to pull a lot of fans to vote for the best.
