A conflict at a packed South Carolina bar early that led to a shooting that left two people dead and nine others wounded.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office announced in a statement that the agency was examining a shooting at the Old Skool Sports Bar and Grill in Lancaster at about 2:45 a.m.
Two adult men were shot and killed. WIS News in Columbia recognized them as Henry Lee Colvin, 29, and Aaron Harris, 28. Four wounded victims were airlifted to medical facilities for the procedure while four other people were treated at local facilities for injuries considered noncritical.
An 11th victim was attended further released for few minor injuries that were a result of falling down while trying to flee.
The dispute included one of the men killed, a sheriff’s department officials said at a press conference on Saturday afternoon. The official said he speculates the shooter was targeting only the man he was fighting with.
As of Saturday afternoon no ar, rests had been made. Specialists said they had leads on a suspect and were trying to find him.
“This was a brutal event of huge ea extent that was glimpsed by lots of people,” Sheriff Barry Faile told in a statement.
“Two people are dead, and many more are seriously harmed. While the shooter or shooters are out there. We need to talk with everyone who was at the club when the shooting took place, and I exhort those witnesses to contact us directly as soon as possible so those accountable for these deaths and injuries can be taken into custody.”
The announcement says that, a huge crowd was at the Old Skool Sports Bar and Grill when the shooting ensued and that shots were fired inside as well as outside the bar. Most buyers dispersed as shots were fired.
