The End of Fking World is a tv show produced with the UK’s Channel 4 about a self-proclaimed serial killer called James and his first potential victim, Alyssa. While goin who is just another teenager on an impromptu road trip that turns into a crime-filled run from the law.
It became an instant success but it consisted only of only eight episodes and a cliffhanger of a finale that cuts to black before you find out James’ fate, raising questions surrounding a sequel season arose almost instantly.
Although a few fans argued that the season should not happen. In August 2018 the show posted a picture of Season 1’s dramatic climax scene, alongside the message, “We’ll be fking back.”

Beth Willis, the lead of dramatic programming at Channel 4, told Deadline, “We’re so proud that this worldwide success story began on Channel 4 and that a sequel series will be coming soon.
It has been confirmed that Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden will continue in their roles as James and Alyssa. As for the remainder of the cast, though, everything is still up in the air.
Netflix and Jessica Barden posted on their social media handle and revealed that filming of the series had started. Along with a photo of Barden camera-ready as Alyssa, an image also came out of the cover of her Season 2, Episode 1 script.
Season 1 dwelled in on James’ death. It’s possible that the new episodes follow the legal bind that James and Alyssa are now in — and based on the possibility that their young runaways wanted for murder, it’s possible they’ve become quite a famous case. Or James if has actually died, then he will be merely a memory in flashback.
There’s has been no chatter of official release date so far. But the series will come out in late 2019 as widely expected.
