Elite Season 3: Has Netflix Renewed The Show? Release Date, Cast, Trailer, And other updates
It’s official: Netflix’s Élite has returned for a third season. Diego Avalos, the director of Netflix Originals in Spanish, had earlier announced during a press conference on August 29.
Based on what series creators Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona had to say about the direction of season 2, it’s clear that season 3 is expected to be bigger in scale and better ever better than the previous seasons.
“I don’t know how much more funds the series cost [this season], but I have the sense the series has attained a definite leap in quality and, also, that I made the series I wanted to, and that’s a rare experience,” Montero said.
Season 1 of Élite, as reported by Variety, was watched by more than 20 million household accounts back in October 2018, its first month of release.
Season 2 of the show came out on September 6 and deals with the aftermath of Marina’s death—while also giving us a whole new set of cast members. Given that the for season 2 is headlined as “Lies tie us together. Lies tear us apart,” we can only expect what direction season 3 will be going in.
