Google’s new integrated Street View system has upped its level. The new system allows users to take a virtual stroll around the street using a panoramic view.
You can even see the area in high details even with the buildings. You can also go inside stores, museums, arenas, restaurants, and stadiums. And guess what? You do not have to even walk. Just touch and you can virtually look around streets while lying inside your blankets.
Here below is how the Google Maps version 10.23.4 works:
The new updated version of Google Maps contains this feature. Type your desired location that you want to discover. In the application, tap the maps layers button in the right side of the display. You will see a box next which has a heading as Explore.
Under that heading, you will get to see a link to the street view. You have to select that. The maps will get covered with blue lines which signify the locations where the integrated street view is available.
You can tap on the blue lines and you will get the street view of the area. Further, you can zoom to see the area closely. Swipe right to move right and left to move left. You can also swipe across the screen just like you are taking a walk around the area.
This feature can be helpful if you’re visiting a place for the first time while looking for something specific. You can look first on the street view and that might help you find the place easily when you finally visit it in person.
To be honest, this might be a perfect time-killing idea. Just lying around in the bed while strolling through different parts of the world as if you are actually driving through the area seems like a really good idea though.
